In addition to Chefchaouen, the other memorable highlights of the trip are the Sahara desert stay at Merzouga and the ancient city of Ait Ben Haddou. Specifically, our mud house accommodation of Kasbah Tebi, right in the UNESCO heritage site itself, was such an interesting 2-night stay, despite there being no lights, no wifi, no phone reception, only candles and loads of uninterrupted catch-up time among ourselves.
